Marketing Manager
RedCarbon.ai is the only European company entirely focused on applying AI to cybersecurity. They are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to build the company's marketing engine from scratch — SEO strategy, content production, LinkedIn presence, and lead generation infrastructure. The role offers full remote, real ownership from day one, and direct access to the co-founders in a fast-growing, post-Series A environment.

RedCarbon is the only European company entirely focused on applying AI to cybersecurity. Our AI Agents work alongside human analysts in Security Operation Centers, automatically investigating and closing 95% of alerts in seconds — so SOC teams can focus on the threats that actually matter.
Founded in 2020, we recently closed a €3M Series A and are scaling across Europe and the Middle East. We’re a team of ~16 people building in Go, Kubernetes, and LLMs from a fully remote setup across Italy. Our platform is trusted by MSSPs, enterprise SOCs, and compliance teams navigating NIS2 and beyond.
We’re hiring our first dedicated marketing role. If you want to build the marketing engine of a fast-growing AI cybersecurity company from scratch — this is it.
The Role
You’ll be the first marketing hire at RedCarbon. You won’t inherit a playbook — you’ll write it. You’ll report directly to one of the co-founders and own digital marketing end-to-end: from SEO strategy to content coordination, from LinkedIn presence to lead generation infrastructure.
This is not a support role. You’ll shape how RedCarbon is perceived by CISOs, SOC managers, and MSSP decision-makers across Europe.
What You’ll Do
SEO & Content (Primary Focus)
- Define and execute the organic search strategy: keyword research, content planning, technical SEO, on-page optimization
- Coordinate content production by interviewing internal subject matter experts (our CISO, engineers, co-founders) and turning their expertise into high-quality blog posts, case studies, whitepapers, and thought leadership pieces
- Monitor rankings, organic traffic, and search performance using Google Search Console and Analytics
- Identify content gaps and opportunities in the AI cybersecurity space
LinkedIn & Brand
- Manage RedCarbon’s LinkedIn presence: company page strategy, content calendar, community engagement
- Support co-founders’ personal branding with content frameworks and ghostwriting
- Develop RedCarbon’s voice and positioning for a technical, skeptical audience
Lead Generation & Marketing Infrastructure
- Build the marketing stack from the ground up: evaluate, propose, and implement CRM and marketing automation tools
- Create and optimize landing pages, gated content, and email nurturing flows
- Design conversion paths that turn organic traffic and social engagement into qualified leads for the sales pipeline
Paid Acquisition
- Plan and manage paid campaigns on Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads on high-intent keywords and audiences
- Track ROI and optimize spend within an approved budget
Website
- Manage and update the RedCarbon website (custom HTML/CSS) autonomously — publish blog posts, create new pages, update copy without depending on developers
What We’re Looking For
Must Have
- Proven experience in B2B digital marketing, ideally in SaaS or tech companies selling to technical buyers
- Strong SEO skills: technical SEO, content strategy, keyword research, analytics
- Ability to coordinate content production with subject matter experts — you don’t need to be a cybersecurity expert, but you must be able to extract insight from one and turn it into compelling content
- Comfortable working with HTML/CSS to manage and update a custom website
- Fluent English writing skills — 90% of your output will be in English
- Native or fluent Italian
- Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and LinkedIn marketing
- Self-starter mentality: you’ll be building from zero with high autonomy
Strong Plus
- Experience in cybersecurity, infosec, or adjacent domains (cloud security, compliance, risk management)
- Familiarity with AI/LLM tools for content creation and marketing workflows — we’re an AI-first company, and we expect you to work like one
- Experience selecting and implementing marketing automation / CRM platforms (HubSpot, Brevo, or similar)
- Hands-on experience with Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads campaign management
Nice to Have
- Experience briefing designers or producing basic visuals with tools like Canva or Figma
- Familiarity with the MSSP / SOC buyer journey and enterprise security sales cycles
- Experience working in early-stage or scale-up environments
How We’ll Measure Success
In the first 6–12 months, we’ll focus on two things:
- Organic growth: meaningful improvement in search rankings and organic traffic on strategic keywords in the AI SOC and cybersecurity automation space
- Pipeline influence: marketing-sourced or marketing-touched opportunities entering the sales pipeline — proof that content and digital presence are generating real business conversations
We’ll define specific targets together, but the direction is clear: build RedCarbon’s digital footprint and connect it to revenue.
